Bought Samsung galaxy j1 Mini Prime

The product specs said it has 5 MP main camera , VGA face front camera

After unpacking the device , tried to try the camera to picture some normal text as I used

the picture was very hazy blurred , tried different distance and setup ,
But nothing worked . No one single letter is clear enough

So I said most probably this is a mistake or production problem , as a 2MP camera from my Polaroid tablet captured the same text clear enough that Samsung so called 5MP cam failed to do

I was thinking if tthe main camera quality is that bad . The front is obviously more less than said quality

I tried capturing the same text that The main camera failed to capture clear
Surprise:

The face front or selfie camera said to be VGA captured the text very clear and even its picture is more better than the said 5MP
I returned to the seller again with phone , after confirming the issue , we checked another piece , out of the box ,

Surprise :the same issue

He refused to refund me although it is against policy . Said he will return the piece back to Samsung to check , and they will contact me within 7 to 15 WORKING DAYS

the question is

How did such defect passed the quality control at production spot ?

And how this could be found in more than one piece in the same production patch ?

Why the refused to refund me ,?

I think you should check that yourself , and recall that model for the proper action
