I've owned a Samsung front loader Model WF218ANB since Jan. 2009, now out of warranty. It started rattling and when I opened it was smoking. LUCKILY I was home or it would have probably caught on fire judging from the amount of smoke!! I contacted Samsung and they offered very little support. Either have a technician come out to assess and repair approximate cost $350 or offer a product protection warranty that covers the repair and gives you one additional year of warranty for approximately $350. So basically I'd be out the same amount of money for a product that could have caused major damage had I not been home and there had been a fire!! I might as well get a new machine. It also has the issue that the rubber seal on the door is moldy. I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN!!!
