Youtube disabled - Samsung update broke my TV - Samsung HDTV

I have a Samsung smart TV. It was sold with internet connectivity, including Youtube. Samsung automatically updated my software and has disabled Youtube, capability that I bought from Samsung. Samsung service said in so many words just to suck it up. They said that they do not control their own product or its capabilities and will not support me or Youtube on my TV.
So, they want me to buy a new Samsung TV. Pretty naive. Not Samsung next time.
Ironically, Samsung claims to be a good environmental steward. Huh? They do a software update to intentionally break my machine and have me add another wise working machine to a landfill.
