Samsung galaxy s3 faults - mobile phone service

I am extremely disappointed with both Samsung and the Samsung galaxy s3.
I have has nothing but issues with this phone. I am about to send it in for repair for the same problems for the third time. I asked Samsung to give me a replacement only to be told it would continue to be repaired time and time again. So there's me without my phone for ANOTHER two weeks. Samsung is a waste of time. I will definitely be getting an iPhone when my contract is up for renewal.

I have Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-19305. This phone worked fine until "Samsung" advised that a software update was available and pestered with messages to my phone requiring me to download the software update. Eventually I conceded under the weight of repeat messages and upgraded the software "Big Mistake" the phone has not performed well since. It will only connect to WiFi if it is sat almost on top of the router, otherwise it advises "connection too slow", "WiFi connection unstable", "Authentication Error", etc. etc.
All my other tablets, laptops, kindle, nexus, my old Samsung S2 (why did I change it) connect fine without issue. Link speed of my other devices is 35 Mbps whereas Samsung S3 has now dropped to 5 Mbps.
I have sent Galaxy S3 to Samsung repair centre which involved me in backing up my phone and bringing my Galaxy S2 out of mothballs and getting larger Sim card from 3 Mobile store, etc.
I got the S3 back from repair only to find that the same problems existed :-(
I phoned repair centre back to advise that phone still had same problem and suggested that they should now send me a replacement phone BUT they are adamant that I need to keep sending phone back to them again & again until it is fixed.
I have just been onto Samsung website to find a route to complain about the terrible service but you are just banging your head against a brick wall because they just tell you to contact Samsung Support (should be called "Lack of Support").
My house has lots of Samsung equipment in it BUT from this day on there will be no more Samsung items purchased by me.
MY ADVICE if you are thinking of getting a Samsung mobile phone THINK AGAIN because if it goes wrong you might as well bin it because Samsung will not accept responsibility for their faulty equipment/software updates.
TO CONCLUDE-Check on line and you will find that mine is not a rare experience THE INTERNET IS LITTERED WITH PEOPLE with the same fault as mine all waiting for Samsung to come up with a fix. Don't Hold Your Breath.

I am having the same problem with my Samsung S4. I sent it into repair 3 times and then went to Best Buy as recommended by Samsung Support and it still didn't work properly. I have had a horrible experience with a customer service department that cannot work outside of protocol to help resolve any issues with their phones. I could go on and on forever but I will end it here. My next phone is an iPhone as well.
