Samsung Website Glitch/Would Not Honor Posted Sale Price - Samsung KS8000 49" UHD


On 11/20/16,I tried to purchase a TV at what I thought was a great Black Friday sale price. When I added the item to my cart to purchase, a higher (by $225) price displayed. A phone call to the Sales direct Dept disclosed that there was a glitch and I should try again in an hour. The rep assured me that prices would not change when the problem was fixed. Several more attempts were made throughout the afternoon, but the error persisted. Later that evening, I made another attempt and the 'great" sale price had disappeared; the price was now $225 more. A number of phone calls the following day failed to find someone who would honor the original sale price at which I first tried to purchase the TV. They said I should have taken a screen shot to justify the lower price. Since the problem stemmed from Samsung 's website glitch, not my mistake, they should honor my request. I will certainly never buy a product from this company's website, and I will never buy another of their products.
