Samsung Complaint



In 2009 I purchased a Samsung dishwasher, DMR77LHS and a french door refrigerator, RFG297 with ice and water on front door. Luckily I also purchased an extended warranty on both appliances. To date, I have had 3 service calls on both. The ice maker does not make enough ice for 2 people to use. Forget about parties, we have to buy bagged ice for that. Also, the ice maker is incredibily noisy. We can hear from our bedroom at night, it's like listening to rocks falling. Now for the dishwasher. It does not dry dishes, at all. Okay, not a huge concern but the fact it also does not clean well is. From time to time, it fails to even open the soap compartment to access the soap! Also, from time to time it just does not operate at all! Really frustrating. Given the fact neither of these appliances were a bargain price I think I am entitled to them working better than they do. As I said, thank goodness I purchased the warranties as I had read customer service at Samsung is not a priority. I strongly advise anyone considering a Samsung to look elsewhere. Not worth the money.
