French door refrigerator - Refrigerator


My husband bought a Samsung Model RF265AABP French door refigerator on September 22, 2007 for my birthday. We own several Samsung products and felt confident in our purchase which was $1,600+. After two years, the refrigerator started repeadetly dinging (I could hear it in my sleep it was so annoying.) like the door was open. When I opened the doors the digital readout kept changing temperatures and dinging at the same time. After 5 visits and spending $150.00 on repairs, we have been informed that we now need two door sensors and a main control panel (a mother board). This $1,600+ refrigerator lasted TWO years! Wow. When we called Samsung to see if they could help us out, they wanted to know if we bought an extended warranty to which my husband replied that we didn't think we were buying a inferior product so we didn't think we would need one. Long story short, we are screwed. Thanks for standing by your product Samsung and for all you reading this DON'T buy Samsung!
